From Colfosco to Corvara. Chairlift on the Col Alt. After the first steep section sharp left to the chair-lift up to the La Brancia hut. Then down into the "hole", direction Piz Surega, to the lift Las Vegas. On top a beautiful panorama. It may taken pictures! A blue slope leads us to the Hotel Armentarola. To come on the Passo Falzarego we have to take the skibus or taxi. Fee is about 3 Euro/each. The stop is beside the Hotel Armentarola. It takes about 15 minutes up to the Passo Falzarego.

Now we enter the cable car up to the Lagazoui. From here we have an excellent view over the mountains and the small skiarea situated opposite. The Cinque Torri looks very small from this point of view.

On the black(red) run back to the cable car. Short of it we go left to the opposite skiarea. We passing it and come to the liftstation Bai des Bonnes. We lift up and reach first the Rifugio Scoiattoli. A nice place for a short break. Short behind that old hut there are the Cinque Torri (= five towers). Now we lift up and to the Rif Nuvolao. Between 1998 and 2002 for the last short piece there was a dragging by a snowcat for us skiers. Today people get dragged by a children rope-lift (hope the translation is correct). But the rope is so "soapy" that the most skiers have their problems. I promise you a small adventure!

Now down to Rifgiuo Fedare within a theater panorama. In former times there was a turn of to Passo Giau in the middle of the slope. But the lift there has been shut down. So we reach our todays target - the Fedare hut - at the end of the slope.

Back to the car park "Bai des Domes" we enter the gratis skibus up to the Falzarego and then, with the cablecar, on top of the Lagazoui again. Now we have a medium slope before us, which is about 7.5 km long and has a relief variation of about 1100 m. Short behind the unique Rifugio Scatoni (have a look inside for a cup of coffe) we come to the icefalls with the last steeper and somtimes icy parts for today. About 300 m behind the icefalls, in the middle of the last steeper part, we schuss from here to get enough speed to master the continuing flat part as far as possible! But be attention sometimes a lot of skiers here! No we have a little bit to work on ski. Under using our sticks (I know it's hard) we reach the stop of the "horse taxi" (fee about 3 Euro/each) which drags us short before Armentarola. The really strong skiers among us ignore the "horse taxi" and it's faster also!

At Armentarola we go ahead with the drag-lift (often a really bottleneck). In the middle of the comming slope there is a steeper part which we schuss to master the following flat part which is bringing us on the easy mainrun down to S. Cassiano.

There, a 4 chair lift brings us on the Piz Sorega. We take the slope to the "hole" we passed in the morning. The next chair-lift is on the Biok. Now before us the last long run down to Corvara passing the huts "La Baita" and "Negerhütte". We are back!

We hope you have had a nice and stressfree day!
