Alta Badia - the ski area in the Dolomites

The Skiresort

The Alpin - Skiresort Alta Badia is situated in the Dolomites in an altitude between 1500 m and 2500 m. Alta Badia itselfs joins on one end the north-east-corner of the Sella Group.

The Sella Group is surrounded in the south by the Marmolada and the Porta Vescovo/Belvedere, in the west by the Langkofel with the Seiser Alm, in the north by the Puez Group and a little bit away, in the east, by the Kreuzkoffelgruppe.

You can ski the whole skiresort using the the "Dolomiti Superski Pass" of the Dolomiti Superski Link. Skiing (almost) without limits!

The locations

In the skiarea the locations Colfosco, Corvara, La Villa, S. Cassiano, Pedraces and, a little bid away, La Val provides you with accommodation opportunities and catering trade. You can book skicourses in groups and privat lessons, as well as you can rent the complete skiequipment on site if necessary.

Nightlife and Restaurants

People who are looking for an extensive nightlife better should have a look to other ressorts.

The restaurants are offering pleased meals, adjusted on the tourism. In all restaurants smoking is strictly forbitten.

Internet Access

[Jan. 2006] To use local Internet access points you have to be registered at sight of your passport. After it you get your personally access codes. This is required for all puplic Internet access points as well as the privat Internet points with your hotel.

Because of the costs some Internet points got closed in the meanwhile! To send and get e-mails as a tourist is rather time killing and circumstantially. If you are reliant on e-mails clarify the on site possibilities with your host before.

It's really retrograde these days!
